After many years of enjoying my work in the jewellery industry, I made the transition to Ponsioen Optiek in 2014. It was a new challenge, but with a familiar passion: helping people find something that truly suits them.

I have now been working at Ponsioen Optiek for 12 years, where I have continued to develop my experience with materials, design and personal styling within the optical industry. The connection with my previous profession is clear: a pair of glasses is much more than a visual aid. It is a personal accessory, worn every day, that can enhance someone’s appearance and personality.

My passion for fashion, art and distinctive design plays an important role in my work. At Ponsioen Optiek, I am fortunate to work with many leading designers within the world of eyewear fashion. I am always looking for frames with character, exceptional quality and unique details. Brands such as Veronika Wildgruber appeal to me because of their distinctive design, creativity and remarkable shapes.

The most rewarding part of my work remains the personal connection with customers. Together, we search for a frame in which everything comes together: the right shape, colour and overall expression. When someone looks in the mirror and recognizes themselves with confidence, I know we have found the perfect frame.
