For over 25 years, I have enjoyed working in the optical industry. Since 2010, I have been the owner of Ponsioen Optiek. On November 27 of that year, we opened the doors to our practice—a milestone I still look back on with great pride.

My passion lies in performing the most precise eye examinations possible, with the goal of achieving the highest possible level of visual acuity for every client. Comprehensive binocular vision assessments and prism measurements are an integral part of my work. I also advise clients on the selection of eyewear and contact lenses, and I have a strong focus on myopia management to help slow the progression of myopia in children.

I also enjoy contributing to the future of the profession by serving as a practical training supervisor for aspiring opticians and contact lens specialists.
